Hi all, I’ve a T25 1600 turbo diesel with mechanical probs, overheating and possible cylinder head gasket blown, can anyone recommend a good garage/mechanic in Newcastle area, thanks hooch.

Hi i had the same problem overheating but with white smoke out of the exhaust and it turn out to be the head and not the gasket don't let them change the headgasket without doing a Pressure test mine was a pin hole in one of the ports on the head so I went for the conversion to a 1.9 with the jx turbo.which for me was Cheaper because I do all my own labour.

Thanks for advice, mine used to blow white smoke until warm

Sounds a lot like mine maybe it's a common problem with them
