Water leak on VW T25

I have a f reg T25 1.9 water cooled petrol.
I have just had the garage replace the water pump. They are not a VW specialist.
The van was making a grinding noise. I called The AA. He suspected a problem in the flywheel area as he said that was where the noise was.
The garage replaced the water pump and said they couldn't source the metal pipe from the water pump to the right of the engine block
They informed us when it was done that there is a slight water leak but can't see where it is coming from. They suspect the pipes going over the engine on the right as there was water on too of the engine near the spark plugs.
They said to bring it back if it gets worse.
I could not see a water leak.
I had the engine running for over 10 minutes but there was no water leak. I checked all the pipes but nothing.
A week later I then noticed a water leak just above the bolt covering the heat plate the one nearest to the exhaust.
I have tried removing the heat plate but the second bolt won't budge. I have WD40
I have had The AA come out again. He had no luck either. He suspects a coil plug.
I don't want to break the bolt and then need to drill the remainder of the bolt out.
What can I do?
What can it be?
Hopefully not the head gasket.
The water reservoir in the engine compartment was half full. When I topped it up the water was running out about 5 seconds later. It is clear water.
When I was going to get the T25 transported back to the garage then didn't want to take it "they said there was too many problems" I suspect they don't know what they are doing and they did damage the metal pipe.
