Switched live whereabouts

Hi, I’ve installed a leisure battery and I need to run a switched 12v live supply to a terminal on the relay to stop the primary battery discharging itself into the secondary battery.

Primary battery is under the drivers seat, secondary battery under the passenger seat.

Recommendations and help finding this (I’m a complete newbie).

Thanks,
Nick

Thank you. If anyone has a picture of the;

'thin wire to no charge light' on the T25 (T3) which is blue and runs from the alternator, behind the fuse box to pin 11 on the multi-pin connector behind the dash.

That would be much appreciated. I’m trying to do it without the dash removed!

Easiest way is from the alternator, and run the wire to the split charge under the van , less chance of causing badness with the dash ....

Thanks.
And if I want to avoid running a wire out under the vehicle to the alternator, then I can use an empty slot from the picture you added?

You can only connect to the blue wire at either the alternator end or the dash end , or in the loom at the back of the fuse box, the vacant slots in the 14pin plug are just that , vacant , no connection .

Is it the early or late style fuse box.?

If it is the later CE1 fusebox, then there is a vacant male spade connector on G4.
This is linked to the charge light wiring.
(Blue wire).

So easy peasey to take your control wire from there.

See this thread that I just prepared.
