To give the final word on this problem that I have been struggling for so long and hopefully that can be helpful to anyone having similar issue.
At least I fixed it ! Even though the fuel tank was almost new, though I have no clue how old it was since it was replaced before I purchased the van, there was a lot of dirt in it . So I put a new one and the issue is now fixed. It runs like a charm !
