Hi,
Has anyone purchased a Pop rivet drill adapter 'thingy'? They all seem much the same , Amazon/ebay, just different prices and delivery times for the same item.
Seems like a good idea. Any thoughts?

I haven't, but only because i didn't know they existed... Just didn't the last half an hour watching videos about them.

There are even rivnut versions as well. I live rivnuts. Fnarr.

Definitely looking for one now. It seems there is a wide array of qualities though...

Decent quality one (rivnut version, but they do both) here: https://www.astrotools.com/xl-rivet-nut ... acity.html

Did you get one zooma? I need to fit the fog lamp brackets, no-one I know has more than the hand held pop riveters, which I have already

Hi,
Just remembered I started this post last year.
Tried three or four from Amazon/Ebay. Not enough usage to warrant purchasing a 'quality' tool. All a load of rubbish or broke and all returned.
Managed without in the end.
PS. Do not use many pop rivets. Prefer nuts/bolts s/t screws. Easier to remove when required.

thanks for the tip offs, i think maybe a manual option would be more reliable. something like this sort:

No, i didn't - like kentishvanman i couldn't really justify the price for a decent one and don't like buying cheap tools.

My only advice would be think about where you are going to use it and decide if you want a straight shot version (in your picture) or a 90deg version:
