Bleeding brakes

Had a set of new front flexi hoses fitted today.
Noticed on colection that the pedal travelled further to the floor than before.
Took it back, garage bled the brakes some more.
It's possibly the same as it was originally now, or possibly not, maybe I have gone paranoid.
How much travel do people get on th ebrake pedal before the brakes kick in ?

couple of inches on one van and maybe 3 inches on the other van

That's about the same as mine 2 or 3 inches of travel.
Probably just getting paranoid due to letting a garage play with it rather than doing it myself.
Thanks for the info.

Pedal travel will also depend on how well adjusted your rear brake shoes are as the hydralic system takes this 'slack' up before applying even the front brakes. Check for leaks if your not too sure about the work they've done, there is only one garage on earth I'd currently trust with any of my cars. I don't like garages..
