Pierburg wiring

Hi
I am having problems with my dg cutting out when warm. I think that the wiring between the temp switch and the various switches on the carb, not to mention the manifold heater, is incorrect. I have looked at the Haynes bible and it definitely might not be what is happening in my engine bay. Logically the manifold heater should connect to the switch, the cut off valve to ignition switched 12v, but im hazy on the other two ( I think they should also be 12v ignition switched). If someone has a pierburg fitted to a dg, and the inclination, could you post a photo of the loom to carb wiring to verify my assumptions?
Thanks

I don’t think I have a picture, but
the carb heater ( big red wire) should be fed via the relay in the black box from the temp switch
the idle cut off solenoid , carb heater and choke should be all from the ignition switched circuit off the coil . All the black wires .

That's interesting, my wiring has obviously been cobbled. I have no relay, the heater runs straight off the temp switch, and the 12v supply to the rest comes out of the loom.
Haynes says there should be one red and one black wire, odd how yours are both black! But then Haynes for this machine is more a guide than a bible.
Thanks for the help

I haven’t checked the diagram, and maybe they are black with red trace

in the black box in the engine bay should be a relay , and the power source stud for the manifold heater .

a picture of your whole engine bay would help here
