Getting a number plate made that looks 'original'

I need a new front number plate for my 1990 pickup, and I want to get one using the correct 'font' for a '90. The current post-2000 thin spindly letters just look wrong to me.

Does anyone know any of the show-plate outfits that can make up a 'replica' 1990 plate ?

if you mean the plate then yes, just a regular old-fashioned plate that suits the age of the vehicle.

In fact I just found a thread on BY with a link to company that may well be able to do em:

Dubmeister do a nice range of both pressed German and British pressed plates, both me and my mate bought a set, I had D banded German font ones for my Golf and he had the UK ones for his Rover and they honestly look the nuts, especially lit up by the number plate lamps at night.
