Hi, as above, the details here https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/jx-engine-data/ seem to suggest that it is 15W/40 (CD).  Does that sound correct?

A high performance 15W/40 Mineral Oil is what is generally recommended for a JX engine.

FYI - the correct oil grade is actually dependent on the typical ambient temperature that the vehicle operates in. There’s a handy chart in the VW owners manual that shows which grade and specification to use. A 15W/40 oil is suitable for a UK-type climate, but in colder climates it might be more appropriate to use a 10W/40, whereas hotter locations might require 20W/50.

Similar, can anyone suggest the right coolant to use please?  Should mention that he coolant in there at the moment is a blue colour.

Pretty sure it’s 15/40 semi synthetic, but I’ll double check

The coolant in there at the moment is a blue colour.  Anyone know if this would be ok https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/triple-q ... -523770502   It's towards the min reading on the tank and I'm away tomorrow, so I need to get something at ECP or Halfords.
