Hello. Should the rack have drain holes in it? I have a space roof one and drilled drain holes in the corners to allow water to escape. The only problem is that the rubber seal is so good at sealing that it doesnt allow the water to escape. I have to use my fingers to pull up the seal slightly which then allows the litres of water to escape. I think I will seal up the holes as a few mins of driving up/down hills along withe corneringvtendsbto empty it out anyhow but wondered if there was a better solution?

Yes. Original Westfalia luggage racks have 5 drain holes. 4 in the corners and 1 in the front-middle.
The water runs down and can drain at the rear corners of the luggage rack where there is a gap in the seal
