Sliding door - maintenance?

I've seen a few posts on FB recently about sliding door coming free, bearing and roller failures. I have mine removed right now for painting following restoration works. Whilst I have the middle assembly in my hand should I replace the rollers as a matter of routine? They look fine and roll well, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience or knows of any longer term problem of failure. This middle roller is all the holds it on really... thank you.

On the middle roller check for wear around the middle - on the inside of the V - the sliding along the metal edge causes them to wear through and split apart.
Mine rolled fine (a tad noisy and rough sounding) up until it failed - the door dropped and jammed when trying to topen it.
Not expensive from BW, easy enough job. Could be a preventative and wise move to protect the paint (mine got a bitbattered)

I wish that I had replaced mine before it failed as the door flew off going round the boatyard bending it severely. There was no inkling of any thing amiss prior to that.

Top tips, will do! Might replace the top spring at the same time.
