Cranked stabiliser link

Sorry I’ve asked this question before didn’t get an answer - All the bushings are now replaced and steering assembled( van is still off the ground on chocks)
Just looking at my front suspension assembly and replacing bushings. I have the old style wishbone with the insert to fit the stabiliser link into.
My links are the later straight items and not cranked. I’ve read they are not compatible but mine fit and work ...
Question do I replace my straight link with an original crank link ?

Any ideas welcome

Cheers

Sam

Have you tried to steer both side to the limits?
I think the straight anti roll bar link makes contact with the tie rod when it is steered all out.
