extendable oil filling pipe came off…oil everywhere!

the extendable oil filling pipe came off on the M1 on Saturday and the big old fan at the back of the engine acted as an oil despersal fan. Very very messey.

I got it back on and it has stayed put but the plastic around the bottom of the pipe looks very rubbish and I only "pushed" it back on so my question is; how does the plastic filler pipe fit, should there be some kind of seal / gasket (because there isn't) and is it possible to get a replacement pipe.

not sure you can get them new, but there is no gasket to my knowledge, they are moulded , but i have seen a few with a larger jubillee clip holding them in place.........
anyone know if they are the same as a wbx one?
if so i have a spare one here......

Just had a look on ETKA looks like the metal part has a threaded stud on it and a clamping washer to hold the plastic pipe on. this part is no longer available. the plastic part is available or was? part number N 011 115 304
Hope that helps. And nothing like the WBX filler.
