I erroneously thought I had some spare in the loft. Is this the correct stuff for fibreglass to glass in hightop?

I don’t think so , but I cannot find the details on mine from when I changed mine
I’m sure mine the fibreglass side was bigger than the glass side , but I maybe mis-remembering

Really? I would have thought glass was thicker?
I dont really want to pull out old seal to measure

I’ve been racking my brains but can’t remember when I did mine. Have a sneaky feeling it was same as that used on side windows but could be wrong.

Think you might have to pop it out to check.

Mine is same as yours but rail not box..... chances of finding box....... practically zero I reckon.

Cheers Ash,
Pretty certain side window dimension are glass 3/4mm to bodywork 2mm. But not certain. I have some spare body/window seals and definately different widths

IIRC I tried some 1.6mm body/ 3/4mm glass and just wouldn’t sit right, could get glass and seal strip in but the glass sat proud to the fibreglass. Went a size up and fit much better.

Would have thought the first dimensions ideal for metal to glass in main windows.
Looks like lm gonna have to pull old seal for exact measurement.
I reckon its 3 by 3 in hightop

That sounds very familiar!

Just double check, think it might have been 3x4 in the end. 4mm for glass.

If nothing else it’s a good practice fun as those top ones are a bit fiddly.
