Just about to fit a Eber D2 Airtronic to my under slung box that the Westy came with

I'm curious will it be ok to route the main loom through the air intake pipe like the original

D2L and into the van through the floor?

Is it an Airtronic S2 (D2L)? Apparently this one is rated for turning 90° but AFAIK the earlier Airtronics could not be turned on their side.

That looks like an old D2 - what is the date of manufacture? The D2 S2 hasn't been on the market that long.
You can only try it but it may well develop problems, if it does you will know what is causing it!

I have always advised that a Webasto be used as they are rated for operating laid on their sides.

The lad I bought it off is in the Reserves with me and refurbs them so if it packs in ill see him lol
