I am about to tackle the long put off job of fixing the rust on the gutters. I am going to give the roof a paint whilst its off.

Does anyone know the colour code for a Westfalia Joker high top? It just says a not very helpful white on the online resources.

Also is there any reason rustoleum combi-colour isnt a suitable paint?

I had similar question a while ago.
The conclusion was as I remember that repair books say L90D "pastel white" paint although they probably were just some standard white gelcoat and they were not painted by factory.

What you say makes sense, westfalia probably had their own paint for the roof.

I know vw candy white is similar, but I might be able to get something cheaper off the shelf.

Hi, the roof is fibreglass so is not painted. The colour is a white pigment in the outer resin layer. A good abrasive polish should bring the colour back.

Thanks. Cassandra, thanks for the info, it looks like mine has been sprayed at some point in it life.
I have ordered a 2 pac paint designed for yachts, but I will try and get it back to its gel coat. and see how it looks, that might save a lot of time.
