Hi all I’m thinking of fitting a hard start relay on t25 Diesel camper van because I have a intermittent starter problem I’ve tested the starter and it works tested the the power from the Ignition switch to the starter that has power I’ve also added extra earthing but the problem still there so I read about fitting a hard start relay kit but then don’t Mentioned using it on a diesel only on a petrol so that’s my question can I fit a hard start relay to diesel T3?

yes its only to the starter motor so doesn't matter what engine type

Yes no problem, I put a relay on mine to cure the voltage drop on the trigger wire. Been on there donkey's years now.
It may not cure your issue though if the problem is a dicky ignition switch as you say it is intermittent. That and dirty/corroded terminal at the starter is usually the main cause.

Thanks for the info got the relay kit of the bay will fit when I get a chance.
What I have noticed is it starts well when it damp/been raining..
