Propex Heatsource, noisey and not working well

First thought was it has a mouse in,
after taking the cover off and running it bare,
it seems a bit stiff and possibly has a motor problem,
like a brush popped out in the motor..

I wonder if there are any helpful resources,
or knowledge available through the forum?
Otherwise I may have to send it to the company for a refurb.

Thanks, yes,
and I phoned Propex workshop at their factory, which is fairly close to me..
great chat, seems like its an early X1 Model probably original to the van,
if I tap the motor I can change the sound of the buzzing.
Apparently the magnets in the motor come off, sounds like this happened.
they dont have those old motors now, (wiper motor he called it)
but can replace and upgrade, plus service the burner and replace the thermocouple etc,
all at a very reasonable cost, and while I wait.
Whats not to like?
Will be quieter than new, better balanced, use less electric..

He did say its possible to glue the magnet back myself with epoxy,
but I would rather the upgrade and more reliable outcome.

That all went smoothly,
the unit was rebuilt with new internals mostly,
and anything that needed replacing was.
Just a little while puttering in Ringwood while they worked on it,
and paid up £175 inc VAT. on collection.
The new motor is quieter than the old one was when new and uses less juice,
so its all good.
Bought some heat proof sealant and checked for leaks after fitting.
Been working well so far.
