Advice on possible dodgy fitting of pop top!

Hi,

I’ve recently picked up a t25 with a Devon pop top, I’ve now completed stripping out the inside and all panels so I can get a good solid base to build up again!
In the process (to me) it looks like someone’s taken a saw and mallet to the (what I suspect was a) tin top to make room for the Devon pop top roof.

I’ve got a couple of pics, I’m just looking for advice on how best to make it “right” if it needs to be put right or if it will be fine to leave it how it is?

It does need new seals as it currently leaks!

That’s a standard Devon conversion , nothing out of the ordinary

Oh ok,

Thanks for that!

Do you have any advice on how best to re-seal the roof if you have water ingress? Is it better to use a standard bathroom silicone type sealant?

Thanks again!

have you got any pictures of the pop top too, Sikaflex is much better than bathroom silicone
