Analogue Clock

So ... my analogue clock doesn’t work. It never has. I tried this solution and no luck
http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/fix-y ... 72774.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
So what are options available? I can’t seem to find a replacement. Can you get them anywhere? Can I put in a rev counter. Is it easy? I’m a tinkerer not a mechanic.
Any ideas would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

can you take a picture of your clock
I have a few working ones but there are 3 types as far as I can see
fonts seem to differ depending on the year
part number off your clock would be best.
Rick
Been collecting for about 10 years (only half the parts)

My analogue clock wasn’t working... found the circuit foil was split and no longer connected. Have run an insulated cable from the connector block to the clock terminal and it now works!
Hope yours is an easy fix, too!

Yup I live in Spain but get all my parts for Ernie our T25 from the UK. Back in 4 weeks to pick up the next box off stuff. Did you have any luck locating the clock?

Cobra88, are you willing to part with some of your stash? I've got an 85 Caravelle GL which has been sadly modded (I hesitate to say butchered) by previous owners. Originally petrol it's had a 1.9D 1Y installed. I think it originally had the buzzer of doom, MPH gauges and analogue clock. The speedo has been replaced with a KPH unit (without oil pressure control unit), which is OK as Ireland has been metric for some years now. However, the speedo has no trip meter although the glass (perspex) has the hole for the reset button.
I've repaired the clock and built a PCB to replace the foil which was partially burned.

I'd like to replace the speedo with a KPH unit with a trip. I'd also like to install a tachometer.
Are you up for discussion?
Stay safe,
Philip.
