I hope Moderators dont mind this posting in General section. Seeking broader exposure putting it here.
Would owners of a Pierburg AUTO carb'd T25 please show photos of linkage between (including) gearbox and carb. I would imagine throttle pedal to gearbox cable remains the same for using kick down and gear change points.
I cant find any detailed info on internet. Haynes manual has an exploded view but doesnt give detailed visual informaton for me to source parts.
Forum user's Sir Bricksalot and Kentishvanman l understand are Auto carb owners. Anyone else?

your not going to get many offers as 70% of the linkage is over the top of the starter where you struggle to see.
it's basically a 12mm metal tubeular rod with a balljoint onto the gearbox selector lever and a 6mm threaded rod onto the carb linkage (My carb is from a manual but uses Auto's choke housing and Auto's Throttle link bar)

I’m thinking the basic linkage for the kick down must be pretty similar on a injection then ?
It’s years since I have looked at one .

Hello Rick,
I hope you are well?
Rick they are exactly the photos I need with much thanks.... yes cable from pedal to gear selector seems identical . And by the looks of it the rod to carb is same too. So I need rod attachment on carb and bracket on inlet manifold . I saw an auto carb for sale on eBay recently. Didn't bother bidding cos I didn't have this information.
Is the spindle mount to the right of rod standard? Or has it been cut down?
Let the search begin.
Many thanks
Stuart

linkage all standard apart from the clip on the end of kickdown spring as original went AWOL in Anglesey.

So l see. Then all l need is ball shaft, the cable holder and mounting bracket. Rod looks identical. Bush might be different though

Good god, Sir Brixalot! Forgive me. I forgot you are recovering from leg op. Hope its going as well as can be expected.
Rick has supplied the answers to most of my questions.
Best wishes

Rick,
can you tell me difference between auto and manual choke body please? Is it something I should seek out too?
