Heated rear screen connections

I have just refitted my tailgate glass after body repair work, I’m just double checking I’m wiring the heated rear screen in correctly? Harness through the tailgate with spade connector and ring connector onto glass spade and screwed into tailgate frame respectively, spade connector on other side of glass though? Does this just have to earth to tailgate frame? Thanks in advance.
