Evening all first time poster long time lurker so be gentle..

1986.
1.9dg hybrid.
Running solex pict 5 carb on df inlet manifold.

Been having idling problems and identified suspect pull down unit. Vacuum to the unit but no movement on the arm.

Can only find pooberg replacement will this also fit a solex?

Any links appreciated!

Fyi replaced all vac pipes.
New fuel pump.
New fuel pump push rod.
Replaced bypass cut of valve.
Stripped and cleaned carb.
New HT leads.
New dizzy.
New rotor arm.
New sparks.

Not sure if they'd have something like this, but I've previously bought rebild kit parts for this model carb from Gower & Lee.

What do you mean by choke pull down? This is the choke pull-off diaphragm. Usually comes in the rebuild kit.

The offending part is also referred to as a throttle damper unfortunately I can't upload a pic for the life of me but for reference it's on page 4a-7 (part 12) in Haynes manual lol

Alternatively I can source a 1.9 DG pierburg carb and manifold second hand and replace everything?
