Exhaust removal and refitting!

I am going to attempt this unenviable task very soon.

It will be replaced with a new one from JK.

Does any one have any tips, good practices, ideas that may help me along the way?

Is it better to remove the engine?

Or would it be better to send it to a garage and stay out of the pub for a while to pay for the fitting.

The vehicle has a 1.9 dg engine and is 1987.

I did it and found that if you give the nuts a good soaking in release oil (not wd40) overnight preff
blow lamp for the tough ones

a good hex set of sockets/spanners.

make sure you have all the gaskets. replace the old nuts and bolts with new ones and copper grease everything....

coz in three years time you gotta do it again!
