Hi guys,

I’ve got a 1982 van that has just failed MOT on its front seat belt. Basics it’s locked and won’t move.

Just to get it through the test, what other makes/models of car can I use to replace the belt? The local breakers yard won’t give advice (run by kids.... the computer says no....). I’ll get another from Brickwerks but I just want to sort this weekend.

Thoughts?

I wonder if Mick at North west VW is close to you?

I believe he is in Preston, not too far. I’ve managed to find a spare belt for the time being thanks.
