Can't get my Subaru swap to fire up! Help please

Hello
I have fitted a EJ20 from 1997 Impreza 2.0 non turbo into my 1988 T3 Panel (Originally fitted with 2.1DJ)
The Loom was converted by RJES as well as supplying the conversion parts.
According to the guy I bought it from, the engine was a great runner with 70K on the clock. (Not buying a running donor was definitely my biggest mistake but I can't dwell on it...)
All went together quite easily but now the bloody thing wont fire. Engine turns over happily.
No error codes or immobilizer issues showing.
I have double checked that all electrical plugs "snap" together.
All earths are properly connected (and I've added an extra earth strap to the crank case for good measure)
Fuel pump is working and the flow is running though the fuel rail and back into the tank.
I have tried a new coil and crank sensor.
Double checked the timing.
Double checked the fuel feed/ return pipes are correctly orientated.
Still no spark!
I have a used ignition module on the way which will hopefully arrive tomorrow but to be honest I don't think it's that.
Any ideas would be appreciated..... I'm stuck
