Wiper wiring

Found out today that the wipers on my van work irrespective of the ignition switch position...!!!!!
Gotta love the p.o and their expertise at wiring..
Removed about 4 foot of ‘surplus’ when I had the dash out to fix the blower..
Love these little surprises..
