I live in glos/boarder wawickshire, does anyone know of a gas fitter that can my propex heater to my van?

You can do it yourself. It's really very easy. If you want some re-assurance on the safety of the install i'd suggest collaring a British Gas engineer and offering 20 quid to test it. They're always sitting around in their vans around my way.
