Hi All,
Read through the various posts about Tow bars and cant seem to find an answer so here goes.
My camper is a 1984 and has the metal bumpers with plastic end caps. I want to fit a tow bar mainly to take a bike carrier. There seem to be a few makes of tow bar that fit t25s and some mention a need to cut checks out of the bumper to allow for clearance. Can anyone tell me which tow bars will fit without the need to make any cuts in the bumper as i would like to fit chrome bumpers at a later date and at the price they are i don't really like the idea of taking an angle grinder to them.

If the towbar replaces the bumper irons it will need a bumper cut. There was one that fitted underneath to the engine mounting brackets.

Genuine fit towbar is best, most genuine bumpers are already cut to accept them , I have a spare westfalia one and a pair of chrome bumpers too which are off the same van, pm me if you’re interested
