Time estimate to swap gear linkage

Hi all - can anyone give me an estimate of how long changing the gearbox linkage would take.
Box is currently out expected back soon. I'd be following the guide in the wiki.

Can you do it in phases? i.e shifter area first.

I'm not a mechanic but will tackle basic stuff.

If the box is out there is no reason you can’t change the linkages and rods while it’s away , and replace the knuckle and do the set up after the box is back ....

It’s prob only a hour to actually change the linkages and rods , and the set up might be another hour....

Might be ..... it’s a black art .

If you are not mechanical I'd say realistically 3 to 4 hours

besure to mark the middle spline of the main linkage rod before you take it to bits , so you can put it back if it all goes wrong

yeah thanks I saw that about marking the spline...

So is this including the lever and fork bushes and guides part mentioned in the wiki?

The bellows and cap were done not too long ago but I was actually wondering if I could refurb the lever & front end parts in one sitting & do the rest another time once the box is back on as the fork tips weren't available at the time I don't think.
