Hi all,
Maybe a silly question but looking to fit a leisure battery, something Covkid posted made me think, rather than being restricted by under passenger seat space, was thinking about placing it in a cupboard, the obvious place on my autosleeper would be the cupboard behind the starter battery, my concern is having a battery in close proximity to the back of the fridge with the lit gas burner, any thoughts?

If you are at all worried pipe the battery vents to outside the van ( that's what the vents are for - unused by most installations so people forget that they are there).

That is exactly where mine has been for the last 6 years without any problem.
