I've been offered an underslung LPG tank that's 145cm long and around 22/23cm dia.
I know this is longer than a Westfalia tank, but without a trip over to the van to measure up, wondered how long a tank (LPG or water) folk have managed to stick under their vans - will this 145cm one be too long?

It'll fit but you'll have drill different mounting holes.and getting at the mounting books could be tricky when the tank is up in the space.

Thanks Titus, I've no holes drilled anywhere at the moment so that doesn't worry me. As long as it physically fits I an sort something out.
I've a Propex to fit and with the van being Aircooled I can see it getting a lot of use, so a tank makes more sense than the wee gas bottles - and it'll free a bit of space inside!

I think it'll be tight and ready recommends getting your tape measure out veggie buying.
