What gearbox is fitted and tyre size? It might be over geared.

Fuel starvation i.e. a fuel pickup pipe or fuel filter problem?

Hi
As Clairvoyancy is not my strong point can you supply a bit more information?
A start would be an engine code-is it indirect or direct injection (AAZ or 1Z AHU,AFN etc ) turbo type etc. what other symptoms do you have? who did the installation /conversion?

A picture of the engine bay may help matters in identification. As Ian said it could be fuel starvation but there are other things to consider (is there any black smoke in any operating condition?) such as pump timing, induction air to name a couple.
Plenty of people on here and the b'yard with helpful knowledge.

Hi all, its a AHU Passat engine so i imagine the gearbox came with it, i dont know who did the conversion,no other problems as yet, it is a turbo, i have a bigger one to go on, might improve it a little,
