Single cab bed cover

I need a new flexi bed cover for my pickup, does anyone know if these are available anywhere 'off the shelf'. I've had a quick search but can't find anything. Plenty of places around here that make boat covers that could possibly do it, but from experience anything boat related involves a second mortgage

I wouldn't dismiss boat cover/sailmakers too quickly. I have a local guy who used to make sails for Thames barges etc. and he only charged me £50 for a new boat cover. Try to find a one man band operation rather than somewhere in a posh marina. Trailer tilt repairers are a good bet also. Easiest for them if they have a pattern to work from also.

Yes i need to have a poke around and ask some boaty people, just thought someone on here may know of an option. Trailer tilt repairers is another option i guess. Sadly the guy i used to use is no longer working/retired and the business has closed

Watching closely, as Walter needs a new tank-top.

'Scampi & Chips' Mark owns a Tarpaulin business manufacturing curtain siders and load bed covers. He made a cracking wheelchair cover for Jackie's leccy chariot.
He say's to email him on ...

Thanks Ian.
Yes we may be able to make your pick up cover for you.
Have you the old one as a pattern?
I seem to remember making one some years ago, will see if I can find the measurements.
I'm sure there are also some photos somewhere on my computer.

Great, thanks for this info. Have had a look at website and run a quick quote through on the online calculator to get a rough idea. Will be in touch to talk through specifics but all looks good.

Mark and Helen are both top people and have been good friends of many of us in 80-90 for a long time now.

Now have the new bed cover, need to reposition/add hooks on drop sides and make up a clamp for the rear of the cab but the cover was ordered with this in mind so the current fit of the bungee is a bit untidy,I plan on using the bungee toggles all round. Have also made up some supporting hoops/bars to sit across the bed. Very happy with the quality and fit and the service from Mark at The Tarpaulin Company was excellent. Pics below to show the first fit, colour choice may seem odd but truck is getting a repaint this winter all being well in a sage green, each to their own

^^ can you make the bungee go over then under...to avoid the lack of symmetry please. Sorry, those with OCD will find this distressing.

Do off the shelf but I have no experience of using them.
