I've read that that the carb is different on an auto but as far as I can see mine looks just like any other 2e3. Looking to get a carb and fully rebuild it while my van is off the road

there are slight differences, the throttle lever and return spring, the upper body (so something internal) and one of the tubes are auto specific otherwise it's the same shouldn't be any problem having it refurbished just make sure whoever does it knows it is an auto one, guessing you have suffix J carb, refurbisher should note the version and refurbish accordingly

thanks Aidan. I was going to get one and do it myself with JA's vid. The vans in again for gearbox work so I cant take that carb off

Heritage says that 2e3 can be used on an auto if choke housing is swapped over
