Oil cooler sandwich plate

Just been under the van trial fitting sandwich plate, its a tight fit anyway and doesn't look as if I can can easily fit the sender unit for the pressure gauge.
Looks as if I could do with a spacer of some description to lift the plate away from the block, like the factory fit cooler on the 2.1DJ.

For the take off I'll have access to straight/45 and 90 degree bends.

Would it be ok to stack plates & centre adaptors?

Open to suggestions if anyone has any?

Could be the way forward, seen some an10 Male/female with inline take off for sensor - could fit at cooler itself.
I'll take another look on my day off with a spare filter and have a bit of a play around to see if I can manage to get it to seat to the block and use the take offs without resorting to another spacer plate.

BBB fitted a sandwich plate too - no adapters necessary I believe

Mine is a thermostatic plate and is slightly more bulky but will give it another go and see if I can get fittings to clear.

Yes, mine was just for senders not for take-off so it didn't take up as much space. :ok

Fitted to an early van, converted to DJ with external Laminova oil cooler. Btw, why do you want to fit a pressure sender here? Brickwerks remote kit is great for that.

Any chance you could post a link to the video / pictures that's not through farcebook?

I have the parts for a mocal / laminova setup ready and waiting installation on our JX van, and it would be good to see how you've set this one up.

I didn't in particular - just thought it may have been an easy option. But now looking at it to relocate original sensor and add a T for new sender would be relatively easy and cheap using common parts.

Something like this with a length of copper pipe and M10X1.0 ends should work?

Here you go. This is on an early wbx, so not sure how useful it is for a jx set-up.ImageImageImageImageImageImage
