Hi :D

The screws holding the lid onto the van have rusted so much that the heads are falling off them and i'm just sure it's gonna fly off sometime !

I'm going to get some stainless steel ones as a replacement so it doesn't happen again.

But when I try and get the existing ones out i know the heads gonna drop off them and i'll be left with the shaft still in, so i'll need to make new holes.

Does anyone know what the screws screw into / what lengh or type is best.
Also what can I use to fill the holes that are left ?

Cheers,

Mark

from your avtar i think its a late leisuredrive, one of the few roofs that are bolted at all...... fear not tho, its sealed down too, it'll not fly off!

Hi thanks for the reply :)

I'm not sure if it's a leisuredrive or what it is there's no markings to identify it.

Good to know it won't fly off on me !

But I still want the old screws out and replaced so it doesn't look like c**p !

Cheers

Hi

No need to drill new holes spend £10 on a screw extraction tool. Asda or woolies usally have a JML stand.
