My van stands for a while sometimes, few weeks. So to stop all the fuel returning to the fuel tank I have one of these to fit inline on the fuel feed into the carb. Just removes the need to crank the engine and work the fuel pump hard.
Q? Which way round does it go, does the arrow represent the direction of fuel flow for example. Should it not say IN if that was the case?

An arrow on the housing shows the direction of flow.

Can't you just suck/blow to see which way it should go?

Yes you can...thanks.

OUT meant flows out from tank.

Didn't know about these. Going to get one. As it's one way, does it matter where it's fitted in the supply?

Good question. There’s only 0.5m of fuel pipe to play within the engine bay, so pretty much where I have it. Feed up from tank is the smaller diameter rigid pipe.
