good afternoon all betty our 1.9dg wbx has started with a small "popping" noise when on tick over, in order to try and fix this i have started with the obvious and have changed her plugs, dizzy cap, roto arm, coil and leads, to no avail, when she is ticking over there is a small amount of white smoke (this clears after a few minutes) but when she pops its almost like a tiny back fire, when this happens it can be seen in the smoke akin to a puff "if that makes sense" anyone have any ideas

If you have a timing light, or can beg/borrow/steal one, I'd check the timing.
Also check your vacuum advance is working.
Popping suggests either timing or an air leak in or around the carb.
