Replacing a few bits on a Pierberg 2E3 19mm pump version so purchased kit T3DG129 from Brickwerks.
But before opening kit noted this difference from the one l pulled from carb against version inside rebuild kit.
Do l replace with new item or keep original part?

Also l snapped two from three legs retaining the triangle wire mesh cage in corner of carb. It still fits snugly back in place though. Should l replace as a matter of precaution or will it still be fine as a uniped(?) Will it go walkies .....well hoppies when carb generates suction or vacuum?

Are there any bits that can't be bought for the pierburg carb separately ?

Only asking as i've got a spare carb (but had the one on my van refurbished by bromyard), so considering selling my spare if stuff is fairly easily got hold of (selling some of my spares will also help pay for the engine rebuild I had :-)

I have a spare carb (trying to to decide what to do for the best - keep or sell - whichever I choose will be the wrong one lol
Whatever I need I can't get hold of & it's gonna cost me to get one - whatever i try & sell they're not worth anything (or that's how it feels at times lol
