Can anyone recommend a mobile mechanic in the Preston area to look at my T25 - got some engine tapping going on and doesn't sound right good so don't want to chance driving it. Supposed to be away in it at the weekend!! It sounds like a tappet but with a sort of popping sound when revving.
This is an engine that we spent £1,000 on last year!!

Hi does this happen when vans been sitting around for a bit without driving it,if so you need to drive it for a few miles then it sorts itself out mine does it after not been used for a bit and sure theres others on here who have same problem.

Yes like fazzer said it's a pretty common if the van's been sitting for a while

As previous posters said common issue, though I get this as well if I don't use mine for a few weeks. It also is worse if I have semi synthetic oil in it it, rather then mineral.
