Hi the Mrs filled our water tank in our 1990 autohomes komet and the pump has gone bang need a new one easy enough to do I know but want or would like to get rid of the full tank of water before I change the pump , is there a drain plug to get rid of the water so I can replace the pump without getting the wires wet ????

nope, not if its the fantastically thought through tank under the seat.... no drain plug, just a large hatch in the top .....
use the new pump to pump it out ?

yeah thats the one, anyway thought of a way just syphon it out , realised when ide posted it or like you said use the new one before i wire it up through the hole in the tank
