Petrol alternative to test Pump Injector on 2E3

Right then, I've just fitted a most excellent Brickwerks refurb kit for my Pierburg 2E3. The final stage is to check the pump injector by filling the float chamber with petrol & measuring the amount of fuel being squirted out after each stroke. Here lies the problem. I haven't got any petrol and I don't have a jerry can (& can't be arsed buying one). I can't get any petrol from my van as it's in the paint shop miles away. So, is there something cheap I can buy off the shelf at Halfrauds that will do the same job as petrol to just fill the float chamber & measure the squirtiness of the pump injector?
Ta as usual.

White spirit comes in plastic bottles, good cleaning agent for aluminium too.
