Clutch pedal jammed

Hi all, tried to move the van this morning after a couple of months, first press of clutch pedal felt felt a bit jerky then second attempted press it was jammed solid at the top, no fluid leaks, any ideas please? .1982 2lt Aircooled cu.

Had this - worn out clevis pin and hole on the clutch pedal. (unless you have a cable then I don't know whether it is the same)Image

More likely to be the release bearing operating shaft has seized.
They tend to get rusty like this espcially with lack of use

Try pushing the release lever on the side of the gearbox upwards, Then remove the bush retaining bolt from the area arrowed and squirt some three in one oil or similar into the hole, replace the bolt or the bush may spin and try working the clutch repeat if necessary.

Once you have got the arm freed up with light oil. Pack as much Moly grease into the bolt hole as you can, and screw in the bolt squeezing the grease around the bush.

Sorted thanks, in the end it was the slave cylinder seized , only about three years old as well. Thanks for the replies. :ok
