My T25 wasserboxer engine is dirty and I want to work on it. Has anyone had their engine steam cleaned? Is it REALLY bad for the electrics?

Anyone know any good steam cleaners in Bristol?

i steam cleaned mine just put loads of plastic up to stop and stray dirt or water getting inside your van as for the engine just dont spray water into any electrical connections and do it with the engine running if you can then it will soon tell up if you push to much water in it as it will start to cough and splutter.

Steam cleaned as opposed to jet washed is reccomended I would think

I used to spray Gunk over my bike engines and let it soak for a day or two then steam the engine off...great results
