Pretty sure that the flexible tube that supplies the windscreen washer jets has split or parted company. Wondered if anyone knows how to access the pipe/jets ?
I removed the front grill and headlamp but the tube goes behind the bulkhead to the jets.
Is it dash out ???

You have to rotate the washer jets about 30-45deg to get them out.
They are normally knackered during the removal so best have new ones handy.

I used aquarium piping when I replaced mine.

As TAADA says the jets can be removed from outside.
but if you drop the tube back into the body - its dash out or find a well trained hamster than can go in there and retrieve it for you.

get some tape ready to tie around the end of the tube before you pull it off the nozzle so you can secure it.

With a bit of luck its just blocked and a new jet will fix it.

Bugger... sounds like its dash out [LOUDLY CRYING FACE] Looks like the tubing is split as washer fluid is running out from somewhere when the wash/wipe is on [DISAPPOINTED BUT RELIEVED FACE]

I'm thinking, if you can get hold of the top end of it, you could connect some new tubing (securely) to the old, then, from the bottom end, pull it through.
E D I T = ps, this would perhaps be easier if the tubing was warm.

If replacing the actual jets (recommended) don't buy "after market" ones off Ebay / JK etc. They are rubbish in my experience and allow water to seap behind = not good. Get genuine ones from VW or likely from Brickwerks too.

I did think the same thing but from memory the tube is T'd

Bet there's a way round the "T". I can't remember where the T is, but if you can a new tube from the bottle to the top by "pulling through", then one can worry about the T afterwards,

IF you have to have the dash out then replace the blower fan and grease the wiper linkages as well whilst in there.
