I have a problem, A common one I believe.
My dash board lights are not there.
I have checked all my fuses, the all seem ok but don't match my haynes manual!?
I splashed out on a new switch with dimmer thing.
yes I have checked the bulb....breaking the black cowling and little white plastic bit in my excited state!!
Still nothing...have I missed something obvious?
Please help...getting a bit annoyed with not seeing bits and bobs in the dark!!

I had that and seemed to cure it by removing each bulb and bending the tabs 'up' a bit so they make better contact with the track. Also found that the headlight relay mod free'd a bit of juice up for the dash lights and they now glow (very nearly) white.

The one that cleans up the juice to your headlights by bypassing all the switches and gubbins that introduce a high resistance along the way and as a result allows you to actually drive at night! It's great. I think it is in the WIKI to DIY it, but I copped out and bought a headlight booster kit (same result and method, just already part built for you) doobry off ebay that someone linkied to a few weeks ago.
E D I T: If you search Ebay for 'headlight booster' you find them. Obviously costs more than the sum of the parts, but I thought it was a fair price really.
