The brake switch circuit is on the yellow plug ('C') on the relay plate, there's a red/yellow wire with the power from fuse S2, the return connection from the switches is red/black. At the switches, there's a small separate harness with a 2-pin connector. So if fuse S2 is good and you have power there, either the 2-pin has come adrift, or you have a problem with relay plate plug C. Worst case is there's corrosion due to a leaking windscreen.

There is a two pin connector with red/yellow and red/black wires between the fusebox and the switch tucked up behind the fusebox.
