Accelerator push rod - how to fit?

Just got home in the van, but for the first time it was via a large yellow flat-bed truck. The accelerator push rod failed at the lever end on the way home after dark, but I was able to idle into a safe spot to wait for recovery at least. I've already ordered a new part from Brickwerks. Trouble is, I can't work out how to fit the forked end of a new push rod to the pedal lever, as whatever hardware was doing the job had fallen off on the road somewhere by the time I came to inspect it.

If any helpful genius here can tell me which fixings I'll need for the job, I'd be more than grateful. Thanks a million in advance :ok

Excellent OBG, thanks for your help (despite the late hour). I didn't find this particular diagram while Googling... It looks like the end of the push-rod must simply locate into the upper hole in the lever without additional fixings, so that's easy enough (unless anybody else knows different).

Thanks again and sleep well!

Tim

Somebody actually did have a nice shiny new Haynes manual, but then somebody lent it to a fellow owner up the road who shortly afterwards sold their van, and the manual with it. :?

Must get another though, you're right.
