Anyone tried gear reduction starter

I've changed my starter motor twice in the last 5 years which on a Syncro is a pretty annoying job. First was a recon Bosch second was a new Remy which has now turned into the starter equivalent of a sloth.
It's not a job I want to repeat after this change and I no longer have a trade in for another Bosch.

Has anyone tried this sort of thing https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/ ... tegory/224" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
, it's smaller so it will help trying to squeeze it in and save my knuckles.
I know CVC import GoWesty one but they show as not in stock and 2/3 weeks delivery.

I need to fit early next week as it's my work van, alternatively anyone recommend a supplier of refurb Bosch at a reasonable price.

I have a Gowesty high torque starter on my van.The difference is amazing.This company makes them in the uk.They supply the company you linked to.It
might be worth getting in touch with them.

Looks like it came out the same factory ! Was it an easy fit? Did you get the converter bracket to fit the terminal off the back?

This stockist has them on eBay http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/PowerLite-For-V ... Ciid%253A3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Look like the one you used? I'm gonna go for it if so

Cheers

Did yours have the bush as part of the starter, i.e., remove bush and fit the new starter

Done and ordered direct through powerlite with mounting adaptor to get the feed off the back, cheaper than most their suppliers and next day delivery.
